Crossroads II, Sunday, March 23, 2025. Transforming Mind, Body, and Spirit: How Art Heals (even if you aren’t an “artist”)
Joanne Cornell-Ohlman will lead Crossroads II this Sunday. She will tell us stories of healing through the arts, and help us understand the neurological bases for the arts and healing. There will, also, be a hands on experience with creative materials.
Joanne is an advocate for the healing arts, which she uses in her private practice as a clinical child psychologist as well as with Arts in Health Ocala Metro. A Florida native, Joanne enjoys painting, clay, collage, and experiencing the joy of individuals, families, and groups connecting through art.
Joanne is one of the principal founders of a dynamic ministry at Fort King Presbyterian Church: Art4All. Art 4 All is an art-based community outreach of the church. Its mission is to bring people of ALL ages, ALL faiths, and ALL ability levels together in a nonjudgmental and creative environment, in order to support self-expression, enhance emotional well-being, and facilitate meaningful connections among diverse groups of people as they explore their God-given gifts.
