“A Time for All Things: Me Time”. With a song in my heart; thoughts from our music director, Rick Roberts.
|
Good morning, my friends,
Thursday, the day of the week we have a thought to ponder: “The things you do for yourself are gone when you are gone. I can hardly wait for this coming Sunday. Jo Anne’s sermon is titled “A Time for All Things: Me Time”. After reading the scriptures she referenced, my mind is reeling with thought. Is her message about us taking more leisure time? (I’d go for that). Could it be more time to play golf, read, relaxing, gardening, doing nothing? Could it be “hey, leave me alone, I’m in my down time”? I have been “pondering” this ever since I read the title a few weeks ago. |
I do have a thought about what the message could possibly be. My prayer would be “give me the time to do the work You (God) would have me to do”. I’m probably far off-base, but I have enjoyed thinking on these things. It sure has piqued my interest in just what Jo Anne may be getting to.
The good news is that we will know on Sunday. All will be revealed. Until then, “ponder” on what our Creator has in mind for us in His time.
Abundant blessings to all of you.
With a song in my heart,
Rick
