“Be kind to each other”; With a song in my heart; thoughts from our music director, Rick Roberts.
Good gracious! I think, if we are honest, we might have difficulty adhering to some of the directives of that thought. I confess, no matter how hard I try, seeing the best in some people escapes me. Sometimes, it is challenging to forgive a great wrong. In this world, I find it hard to forget what’s bad. But I do have a soul that never loses faith in God.

Now how can that be? I have faith that God will help me overcome my shortcomings and the many faults I have. I pray every day that I be reminded of the merit in others. My supplications include a request for strengthening my ability to forgive. Included in those prayers are desires for a more loving, kind, and beneficent world. I also look to God’s word for help. I’ll share some of the Word with you:
How wonderful is the Word. It truly is the lamp that lights my path. Though I am not perfect, and never will be in this life, I depend on God to “guide me, O thou Great Jehovah.”
Now, I wish you to ponder on this:

Think on that, if you will.
Have a blessed day.
With a song in my heart,
Rick
