Each year at this time we retell THE Christmas story that never seems to grow old. The sameness, the familiar expectations, and the surrounding traditions add to the perennial charm. But there are also OUR Christmas stories — retold at family gatherings, passed on to our offspring, or stored in our private and personal memories….
This week, we will light the Candle of Peace, and look at two passages, traditionally known as “The Visitation” (Luke 1:39-45), and “The Magnificat” (Luke 1:46-56).
