Crossroads II, Sunday, February 4, 2024Reconnecting Body and Soul: A Calling to Help Reduce Medical DebtThe class will be held in the Session Room (and on Zoom).

Suzy Heinbockel and Bridget Kiefer will lead the Crossroads class this Sunday.  They will describe their passion for, and involvement with, R.I.P Medical Debt.   R.I.P. Medical Debt is a not for profit company that has abolished $8.5 billion of medical debt for 5 ½ million Americans since 2014.  It buys up delinquent medical debt at pennies on the dollar.  It depends on donors to help it do this.  Every $100 donated relieves $10,000 in medical debt.  Suzy Heinbockel and Bridgett Kiefer have made it their calling to work to raise money for this worthy organization.

Suzy Heinbockel is a member of Fort King Presbyterian Church.  She is currently working as an insurance agent for Kiefer Insurance.  She serves on the board of Friends of the Ocala Library.  Suzy has served on the Ocala City Council and has been involved in many civic endeavors.

Bridget Kiefer is the Executive Director of the Fifth Circuit State’s Attorney’s Office.  She has visited the Crossroads class several times in the past year. Bridget is currently serving as board secretary for Friends of Ocala Library.

Please join us for coffee (and on Zoom) at 8:45 and class will begin at 9:00.
