Growing the Good: Rethinking How Organizations

Solve and Evolve Part II

The class will be held in the Session Room

(and on Zoom)

Stephen Zedler will continue to lead us in a creative exploration of how organizations might best work to solve problems. Stephen is the co-founder of The Pearl Project with his wife, Joy. He and Joy say that they created the organization that they needed when they felt lost and unequipped to help the two children that they had fostered and, later, adopted. That journey led him to become a TBRI Practitioner, then a TBRI Mentor. He currently serves as the Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships for the organization. Before working for The Pearl Project, Stephen was an educator for over 2 decades, teaching in classrooms in a variety of settings and working as an administrator.

Stephen and Joy Zedler created The Pearl Project when they realized how valuable such an organization would have been when they felt lost and unequipped to help the two children that they had fostered and, later, adopted. That journey led Stephen to become a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TRBI) Practitioner and Mentor. He currently serves as the Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships for the organization. Before working for The Pearl Project, Stephen was an educator for over two decades, teaching in classrooms in a variety of settings and working as an administrator.

Stephen has been heavily influenced by the writings of Wendell Berry, emphasizing the interconnectedness of land, community, and personhood. He will lead us in a discussion of how organizations can evolve in healthy ways.

Please join us for coffee (and on Zoom) at 8:45 and class will begin at 9:00.
