Thich Nhat Hanh was a Vietnamese Zen Buddhist, peace activist, prolific author and teacher who was once nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In his 1995 book “Living Buddha, Living Christ,” he explores the crossroads of Christianity and Buddhism, and enhances our understanding of both faith traditions in a way that can lead to greater peace and mutual respect.
We will be studying this book over the next four weeks, with an introduction this Sunday, Jan. 11, by Joanne Cornell-Ohlman. Joanne acknowledges that she is no expert in either Buddhism or Christianity, but has found this book transformative along her own spiritual journey,
