Prayer Beads:

Artistic and Spiritual Interlude

The class will be held in the Session Room

(and on Zoom)

Susan Jensen, one of our Fort King artists will inspire the artistic bent in each of us this Sunday. In a survey last Spring you expressed an interest in a creative approach to our spiritual lives and practices. This will be the first of an occasional step-aside from scholarly, academic study to engage in a hands-on, creative approach to prayer and spiritual contemplation. You will have the opportunity to select and assemble your own set of pocket- or purse-sized prayer beads. Along with the assembly, we will discuss a variety of ways the beads may be used to maintain focus during prayer, personal devotions, and contemplative thought.

Please join us for coffee and on Zoom at 8:45, and class will begin at 9:00.
