Hands across the Sea is a partnership between Jamaica and St Augustine Presbytery.  It started 40+ years ago and was originally called “Mutual Mission.”  In the past, exchanges between members of churches in Florida and Jamaica were done.  Now, the program focuses more on health care clinics and a traveling Tooth Bus offering dental services.  Recently, St Augustine Presbytery and the Presbytery of Matanzas in Cuba sponsored a clergy retreat with 12 pastors from Florida going to Cuba.  The pastor of Ft King was one of those 12.  Future projects are envisioned and possible partnership developed.  One Sunday a month, offering is taken for this continuing mission.
