Earth Day Service – This Sunday at Fort King!
“For the beauty of the earth, for the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth, over and around us lies –
Lord of all, to thee we raise, this our hymn of grateful praise!”
Join us this Sunday (April 26th) as we celebrate God’s good creation and renew our call to care for the earth. In worship we’ll lift up gratitude, hope, and our shared responsibility to tend the world entrusted to us. Come and be part of this joyful, thoughtful service of creation care. Our own Margaret Spontak will be speaking – her message is entitled “Surrounded by God’s Creation: Discover, Embrace, Protect.” Following the service, we will have a “Plant Exchange,” so feel free some plants from your garden to share with others, and take something new home with you!
Crossroads Class
Keeping with our Earth Care theme, our current is exploring “A Scientific Look at God’s Creation,” this week led by Jane Beebe and Susan Jensen. Crossroads meets at 9:00 a.m. in person and online.

Farewell Reception – Angela Christie
This Sunday we invite everyone to stay following the Earth Care Service, for a Farewell Reception in honor of Angela Christie. This will be Angela’s final Sunday with us before she moves to San Antonio, and we want to send her off with gratitude, love, and plenty of good memories. Cards are encouraged and cake will be served!
Peace in deed,
Pastor Bob
