I love to travel, though I not doing much travel these days. I cherish the “back roads”, avoiding the interstates whenever possible. You can experience relaxing drives and observe what is truly Americana. Daylilies growing alongside the roads. Mountain Laurel in full array. Scurrying little creatures searching for food. Babbling brooks tumbling over colorful rocks in a mountain stream. Birds winging their way from tree to tree. Clouds forming images and floating with abandon. A rainbow of wildflowers in a field. Magnolia’s putting on a show of beautiful white flowers with purple pistils against a background of deepest green. Even in frost there is the glistening prism of magnificent iridescences.
