Interesting article  from the New Yorker;  “When Black History is Unearthed, Who Gets to Speak for the Dead?”

Some may find this article of interest.  It was published infrom the New Yorker and is titled “When Black History is Unearthed, Who Gets to Speak for the Dead?”

I stumbled across it while researching for my long-time involvement in “Friends of Potters Fields” and volunteer contributions to findagrave.com.

Over the years, I’ve cataloged and added 5, 819 graves and currently manage the memorial pages for 40, 602.   Hope you find this of interest!
