Saturday, March 28th: Presbyterian Womens Spring Sale in the Fellowship Hall, 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. This is a Flea Market type of event, where you can purchase a table for $30, and sell anything youd like, or you can come and shop! There will also be a Bake Sale, and your contributions are appreciated. All proceeds support P.W. Missions.
This Sunday at Fort King
At Crossroads this week, Mary Beth Neely will lead our discussion as we continue to explore Moncia Guzmans book I Never Thought of It That Way. This week we will examine how our personal experiences, values, and attachments shape our perspectives. Mission Opportunities
We have several collections and opportunities to give and serve underway
Dont forget to bring a donation for our Lenten Food Drive with you to church this week. We only have two weeks left before we bless this collection and send it to Interfaith!
And last, but certainly not least: We are taking up the One Great Hour of Sharing special offering. For more than 75 years Presbyterians have given to OGHS in order to provide disaster assistance around the world. You may give this week or next week. Please give generously!
Holy Week Events
Thursday, April 2nd: Maundy Thursday Dinner Service, 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. During this service we will enjoy a meal together, and remember the events of our Lords last night prior to his crucifixion, including the institution of the Lords Supper. This is an intimate and moving service, so please make plans to attend fill out a Sign-Up Card on Sunday morning or call the church office.
Saturday, April 4th: Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Party, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon. Fun for the entire family! Bring the grandkids, and invite your neighbors! Donations of candy or prizes are greatly appreciated.
Sunday, April 5th: All of this culminates with on Easter Morning as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord, rejoicing in Christs victory over death and the new life God offers to all! We will also be taking up the One Great Hour of Sharing offering which goes to disaster assistance throughout the world, and we will dedicate our Lenten Food Offering.
