Next Sunday at  Fort King: “Trunk or Treat”

The YAK Ministry is sponsoring a “Trunk-or- Treat” event at the church on Sunday, October 26th., from 6:00-7:30 p.m. “Trunk-Or-Treat” is a Halloween event where children go trick-or-treating  car to car in a parking lot instead of door-to-door in a neighborhood. This family-friendly event provides a fun and safe place for young ones to trick-or-treat, and gives all of us a chance to visit  see the kids in their costumes and give away candy while visiting with our

friends!

How it works

  1. Decorate your car: Decorate the trunk of your vehicle with a Halloween theme: spiderwebs, scarecrows, or other festive scenes.
  2. Collect candy:  Children walk from car to car, going to each open trunk to receive candy from the decorated vehicle.  Members are encouraged to bring a folding lawn chair and enjoy sitting by their car and handing out your treats!
  3. Food and Games:  After trick-or-treating there will be a light meal and Carnival Games in the Fellowship Hall!

Grace and Peace,

– Pastor Bob
