Maria’s daughter, Deanna, has been contacted.  She let us know that Maria did not wish to have a service.  

Maria  resigned her soul to God and reached the heavenly shores.   We will miss Maria and are saddened to learn of her passing.   She was a beloved member of Fort King Presbyterian Church.  

We remember Maria as a giving person  throughout her life, providing food and shelter during hurricanes, assisting with disbursing food for the needy at several locations, serving on the Congregational Care committee, and providing health care to others even as she was experiencing medical issues.  ​Despite needing the aid of a walker, Maria still managed to make her way to St. Patrick’s on NE 7th Ave., to volunteer with the sorting and bagging of food for the hungry.

During the past year, Maria was a regular worship participant via Zoom every Sunday.
