The Rev. Robert Allan Scott has accepted the call to be our Transitional Pastor as of June 1, 2024
Referred to us by someone we trust, Rev. Scott is an experienced pastor, worship leader, and teacher: a trained Transitional Pastor, who is familiar with the challenges of leading a congregation through the strategic planning this time demands.
The Presbytery’s reference checking procedures gave us very positive results. All the other references gave confirmation. We were told about Rev Scott’s communication skills, relatability, calm demeanor, ability to listen, commitment to social justice, and effective sermons.
During our interview, Rev Scott was indeed very relatable, open, and honest. The conversation flowed, as if among old friends. It was wide-ranging and insightful. It ended with a prayer for God’s direction. We are happy and grateful that God has called Pastor Bob to Fort King Presbyterian Church.
