Zoom link and passwords for Worship and Crossroads II will continue to be shared through email, however will not be duplicated on our website or Facebook page.

Greetings to all!

I would like to inform you about a small modification in our Zoom procedures. The Zoom link and passwords for Worship and Crossroads II will continue to be shared  through email, however teh actual links and password will NOT be duplicated on our website or Facebook page.

We will continue to remind you about the event;  just the actual link and password will NOT be publicly visible.

On the other hand, the Facebook link will still be publicly posted, as it only provides a streaming view — without any user interaction.

Why, you ask?   Simply put, publicly sharing the Zoom interactive link exposes us to the risk of unwanted guests with malicious intentions for joining and then causing significant disruptions during the broadcast.  Zoom has informed us that several events similar to ours have unfortunately been seriously disrupted by individuals with malicious who find such disruptions comical. These individuals actively search for public Zoom events on the internet with the sole purpose of causing shock and disruption.

To summarize, if you choose to watch the event on Facebook, there are no changes. However, if you prefer to join us on Zoom, the link and password will continue be sent to you weekly via church email. If you would like to be added to our email distribution list, simply request it by sending an email to Sheri at fkpc@ftkingchurch.org

Thanks for your understanding!  -The FKPC Technology Team.
